What does Humane Care Foundation do against
this atrocity?
Humane Care Foundation advocates in favor of
the human and children rights of the
victims. We initiate and undertakes all
actions, projects and programs that are
necessary to have the atrocity ended. We do
not except the continuous exposure of people
to norm exceeding toxic pollution, causing
irreparable damage to the health of
thousands of people. We therefor execute a
continuous public awareness program. Victims
living in the contaminated townships, mostly
part of the lower social-economic class, are
being empowered and supported to stand up
for and defend their rights and the ones of
their children.
We work together with township members and
the Global Community Monitor to
measure the air quality. The results are
used to better inform the victims and for
litigation.
With our allies we are also stepping up
international political pressure. Our goal
is to have the local government of Curaçao,
the federal government of the Netherlands
Antilles and the Kingdom government of the
Netherlands, respond to responsibility to
which they have committed themselves.

much more, increase our activities,
intensify litigation processes and put more
pressure on local politicians to have the
atrocity ended.

of the island community of Curaçao, small
